Glen Wesley Cooper, Jr.
Glen Wesley Cooper, Jr. of Berryville, AR was born Nov. 16, 1927 in St. Joseph, MO. He departed this world Mar. 4, 2012. Jr. and V Cogdill were married Dec. 8, 1946.
They were in the Ford Tractor and Implement business in Maysville, MO and raised registered black Angus cattle. In 1962 they moved to Berryville, AR where they purchased the Shamrock Motel and Café. In 1977 they retired from the motel business and purchased the home next door where they owned Brass Bell Antiques. Over the years Jr. enjoyed fishing, golfing, and many trips to Europe, Asia, The Holy Land, and being a member of the United Methodist Church.
Jr. is survived by his wife V; two daughters, Pam Curtis and husband Johnnie and Denise Smith and husband Larry; two grandsons, Chad Smith and Brian Curtis; one great-grandson, Kyler Smith; along with other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by one infant daughter, Candace Jane Cooper and his parents, Glen and Lucille Cooper. He will be missed.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Mar. 9, 2012 at the United Methodist Church in Berryville with Pastor Floyd Ray officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Berryville United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
