Dancers bring home trophies

Photo submitted All these dancers attended a convention held by Dance Makers Inc. teaching various styles of dance. They took classes before the competition, and some of them came away with trophies.

Rhythm House Studio of the Arts owner/choreographer Kelli Dunnam took her Intermediate Company and Junior Company to Dance Makers Inc. dance competition at the Chateau of the Ozarks in Branson, Mo., from Feb. 24-26.

Junior Company competed in the Junior Variety Group and placed second for their dance "Proud Mary." Those dancers were Krystal Hipps, Kendra Hughes, Alyssa Lee, Kaylin Rains, Alyvia Scroggins, and Madeline Vincent.

The Pre-Teen Hip Hop Duo/Trio placed second in "Mix It UP", danced by Lyndsay Anglin, Kassidy Bell, & Trinity Rains.

The Pre-Teen Musical Theater Duo/Trio placed first in "Razzle Dazzle," performed by Kalei Clark, Kendall DeMeyer, & Mary-Kennedy Jackson.

The Intermediate Company competed in Pre-Teen Contemporary Line and placed first and won the highest points in catagory for "The Good Old Days," danced by Lyndsay Anglin, Kassidy Bell, Gail Cisco, Kalei Clark, Kendall DeMeyer, Bailee Girouard, Kelcee Hopper, Mary-Kennedy Jackson, and Trinity Rains.

Competing in Junior Variety Production "I Wanna Rock," first place dancers were Lyndsay Anglin, Kassidy Bell, Kalei Clark, Kendall DeMeyer, Isaac DeMeyer, BaiLee Girouard, Presley Gordon, Krystal Hipps, Kelcee Hopper, Kendra Hughes, Mary-Kennedy Jackson, Alyssa Lee, Trinity Rains, Kaylin Rains, Alyvia Scroggins, Madeline Vincent, and Lucy Vincent.
