Auxiliary members celebrate

Friday, December 23, 2011

Dr. Joseph Ricciardi (as Santa Claus) assisted by Fran Ricciardi (as Mrs. Claus) delivered door prizes to lucky volunteers on Dec. 7 at the Christmas Auxiliary Appreciation Luncheon for active members of St. John's Auxiliary-Berryville. SJAB President Anita Spearman (center) also took part in the festivities. An average of approximately 100 volunteers provide more than 2,000 volunteer hours monthly in the gift shop, thrift store, at the information desk and in the surgery waiting area. Other volunteers provide services to hospice and assist in home projects while others act as callers to inform the members of upcoming activities. As of December, the auxiliary has contributed more than 503,000 volunteer hours since the auxiliary was reorganized in 1982.

  • What a wonderful picture! Merry Christmas Santa, Mrs. Claus and Reindeer. Thanks to all for your service.
