Softball teams close seasons in style

The month of July produced many great results for softball teams in Berryville.

Berryville teams playing in Branson wrapped up their season last week, and the final records of many of these teams say it all. Five Berryville teams ended their season with a staggering record of 43 wins, three losses and one tie.

The Community First U10 LadyBacks finished their season with a 7-4 victory over the Ford Hotshots on Tuesday evening in Branson. This boosts their season record to an impressive 10-0.

The Kings River Therapy U12 Lady Bombers finished their season in style as well. The Bombers found themselves down two runs in the bottom of the last inning with two outs when Ally Teague hit a three-run homer to seal the victory. The Bombers ended the season 9-0-1.

The Shumaker Tire U8 Lil Diamonds finished their season undefeated as they won against McConnell 22-4. Led offensively with homeruns by Faith Kelley, Rylea Wright, and Lora Grace Hill, the Lil Diamonds capped a perfect season at 9-0.

The Warren Welding Southern Belles returned to Branson on Thursday to complete their season and defeated the Swat Team 28-4.

The victory brought the Belles record to 6-2, missing two games due to weather cancellation.

The Michele Graves Photography U10 Bobcats wrapped up their season last week with a victory over Berry. The Bobcats finish the season with a 9-1 record.
