Willis Joseph Kropf, beloved husband of Judy (Baker) Kropf of Berryville, AR was born September 28, 1936 to Joseph and Alice Kropf near Shelbyville, IL. He peacefully passed away in his home April 15, 2011 at the age of 74 years 6 months and 18 days.

On May 10, 2005, he had a severe stroke from which he regained some health and strength. On December 15, 2010, he suffered another stroke, leaving him bedfast, from which he never recovered. He suffered patiently and was an inspiration to all who gathered by his bedside and those who cared for him.

He accepted Christ as his personal Saviour and was baptized in his youth and was a member of Bethel Amish Mennonite Church to which he remained faithful until death.

On June 2, 1957, he was united in marriage to Judy Baker of Tampico, IL, daughter of Harley and Esther Baker, sharing the joys and sorrows together for over 53 years. To this union was born three sons and five daughters.

He leaves to mourn his departure, his deeply bereaved wife; eight children; 47 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; also three sisters and six brothers, one being his twin, Willard, being very close to him all his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant sisters, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A special thanks to the compassionate, dedicated workers of hospice.
