Loyd Minick, age 77, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls, ID.
Loyd was born in Oak Grove, AR, the son of Carroll and Ethel (Peden) Minick. On Sept. 4, 1951 he married the love of his life, Colean Moon.
Loyd was a simple man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He worked as a mechanic for most of his adult life. His favorite song was "Daddy Was An Old Time Preacher Man."
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Colean; two daughters, Hope Nauman of Blackfoot, ID and Jodi Nancolas of Nampa, ID; granddaughters, Chandra Minick of Blackfoot, ID, Sierra Thompson of Syracuse, NY, Amanda Anderson of Meridian, ID and Amelia Burgos of Melba, ID; great-granddaughter Robyn Stapleton of Blackfoot, ID and great-grandson Aiden Burgos of Melba, ID; one sister, Hilda Asbury and husband Richard of Oak Grove, AR.
Graveside services were held March 18, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Twin Falls Cemetery in Twin Falls, ID.
