Recycled to be featured at First Christian Church Jan. 29

Friday, January 21, 2011

The First Christian Church in Eureka Springs will host three monthly concerts for area youth begining Saturday, Jan. 29.

The first event will feature the Christian rock group, Recycled, from Rogers. The group recently returned home after a tour in Hungary.

A new CD was released in June of 2010. With a unique blend of original tunes, current and reworked classic rock, the group has been playing for youth group events and even taking their message to maximum security prisons.

Music is just one element of what Fist Christian music director Bren Marshell calls "a fun evening with food, games, and live music."

"Our hope is to give area youth a place to come and enjoy themselves," he said. "There is no charge. A spaghetti dinner and snacks will be served. There are also games to play that include pool, ping pong, foosball, and more."

The event kicks off with dinner at 6 p.m. and ends at 10. Youth groups from other churches around the county are welcome. The church is located at 763 Passion Play Road.
