Mack Clark, a resident of Berryville, AR, was born September 28, 1926 in Berryville, AR, a son of Ova and Nora (Collins) Clark. He departed this life Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in Fayetteville, at the age of 84.

Mack was a member of Southern Heights Baptist Church in Berryville where he was a deacon. He worked as a master carpenter and served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

He is survived by one daughter, Debbie and husband Kenny Mayes of Springdale, AR; one brother, Arnold "Happy" Clark of Little Rock, AR; three sisters, Virginia Jackson and Frankie Clark both of Berryville, AR and Dean Thiesse of Fayetteville, AR; two grandchildren, Nathan Mayes and wife Kari and Jaymee and husband Chris Whitson of all Springdale, AR; three great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Mayes, Drake Mayes and Mallory Whitson; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

On November 5, 1949 Mack was united in marriage with Wilma "Arlene" Smith who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his parents; one grandson, Brian James Mayes; and two brothers-in-law.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Southern Heights Baptist Church with Brother Scott Cox and Brother Dean Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc.
