David Jacobson entered this world December 19, 1942 in Wann, NB and departed to be with his Lord August 24, 2010 in Holiday Island, AR.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl E. and Mary E. (Hartung) Jacobson and Aunt Rene.
He leaves behind two brothers, Ed Jacobson and wife Sharon and Ron Jacobson, all of Holiday Island, AR; five nieces and nephews, Kely Burrus of Jacksonville, FL, Kevin Jacobson of Holiday Island, AR, Kenneth Jacobson of Omaha, NB, Ryan Jacobson of Eagan, MN and Sara Patterson of Gentry, AR; several cousins; and numerous other friends.
Dave was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Eureka Springs and the Rotary of Holiday Island. Dave retired from Anheuser Busch as the Vice President of Human Resources in which he was instrumental in beginning the employee assistance program. He spent his life working with youth. Dave enjoyed Bible study, working in his gorgeous flower beds, and time with family and friends. He was a devoted generous soul and leaves behind family and many friends who will dearly miss him.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, August 26 at Nelson's Chapel of the Springs in Eureka Springs, AR. Visitation will also be 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday, August 28 at Bellevue Memorial Chapel in Bellevue, NB. Interment will follow in the Garner Township Cemetery in Council Bluffs, IA. Memorial services will be from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday, September 11 at First United Methodist Church in Eureka Springs, AR.
