O'Toole to present "Texas Style" gospel concert

Friday, August 27, 2010

All are welcome when Rosie O'Toole presents a "Texas Style" gospel-singing concert at First Southern Baptist Church at Holiday Island at 6 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 5.

O'Toole, from Sherman, Texas, loves to sing and serve the Lord with her talent. Her song selection, mixed with her testimonies between the songs, comes straight from her heart and is always a blessing.

She was named "2004 Soloist of the Year" and "2005 Female Vocalist of the Year" for the Southern Gospel Music Association (SGMA) of Texas.

O'Toole and husband, Terry O'Toole, a Baptist minister, have been awarded several awards from SGMA, namely "Promoter of the Year" in 2003 and again in 2006, primarily for their "Gospel Music Texas Style" concerts at "The Place."

Her motto is and has always been: "From her, to you, for him."

Terry and Rosie O'Toole sing for the glory of the Lord. It is their desire to touch lives for the Lord and to minister in song and word until Jesus comes, giving Him all the glory and praise every step of the way. Believing the Lord will take care of their needs, they do church services on a love-offering basis.

Rosie O'Toole has recorded several projects that are available for purchase on CD or cassette. She has that unique ability to adapt to any audience and feels comfortable ministering in song to large or small audiences. If you should have a need for additional, high quality, heartfelt, gospel music at your church, you will want to come and enjoy first hand the best.

"We got a couple of your CD's when you were at the Cowboy Church at Lockett, Texas, near Vernon.

I still have one,but one got destroyed. It was the one that had "What A Day That Will Be". We minister at the two nursing homes in Vernon and I want to play that song particularly. Do you still have the CD and a list of others? Let us know how we can get it. Rachel & Tex Schroeder

    Thank you.
