A 63-year-old woman is still missing from her Onyx Cave Road home near Eureka Springs after being reported gone by her son on June 17.

Capt. Alan Hoos of the Carroll County Sheriff's Department said Arlene Mary Warren was reported missing by her son, Brian, who told investigators his mother left home on June 14 at about 9 p.m. from County Roads 207 (Onyx Cave Road) and 240, northeast of Eureka Springs.

Warren's family said it was not unusual for her to leave home for a few days without telling them where she was going.

Warren is described as white, 5'6", weighing 135 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

The sheriff's department mounted a search upon receiving the report, along with the SORT (Special Operations Rescue Team) team searching the area on Saturday.

The sheriff is asking the public's help in the search. Anyone with any information is asked to call the sheriff's office at (870) 423-2901 immediately.
