Mojica honored with Character Award

WALNUT RIDGE -- The Williams Baptist College athletic department has presented Jorge Mojica its 2010 Champions of Character Award. He was presented the award at WBC's recent Honors Chapel.

Mojica, a junior from Berryville, Ark., plays for the soccer Eagles. He is majoring in physical education, and he is the son of Jose Mojica and Maria Morales of Chalatenango, El Salvador.

Mojica was chosen by coaches at Williams as a student-athlete who exemplifies all the qualities of the NAIA's Champions of Character initiative.

The five core character values of the program are respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership and sportsmanship.

Mojica was selected for the Champions of Character honor from more than 100 varsity athletes at WBC. Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college.
