Gathering of vintage vehicles

Friday, May 14, 2010
Berryville Officer Randy Mayfield and a fellow admirer were looking over some of the vintage cars that came to downtown Berryville on Thursday. Verlyn Husman (not pictured) was among the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America members who traveled to northwest Arkansas to play tourist while staying in Eureka Springs. Husman drove a 1928 Chevrolet two-door coach, one of 500,000 built, he said, which meant nearly every household had one for the purchase price of $585. The group was treated to a "quaint little homecooked" luncheon prepared by members of First Christian Church. Anna Mathews / CCN
