Holiday Island commissioners to tackle facilities usage fee amendment; golf league to appeal denial
The Holiday Island Board of Commissions will discuss an amendment to Reg. 26-2002 on facilities usage at its upcoming work session Monday, April 19.
The board has considered several options for charging Holiday Island groups and organizations over the last several months. District Manager Kevin Crosson is set to present the board with the staff's recommendation at Monday's meeting.
The Old Coots golf league, unhappy with the board's decision last month to deny its request for a shotgun start, will appeal that decision with further discussion at the work session.
Also on the agenda, the board will look at the 2010 road paving program recommendations, a bid for a fairway mower and will hold a discussion about calling a meeting, with the notification to the press, should board members attend the Holiday Island Homeowners Association meeting to provide a Q&A session.
The work session will take place at the district office 110 Woodsdale Drive at 9 a.m. Monday.
