Makeup games scheduled by county basketball teams

CARROLL COUNTY -- Ice and snow wiped out basketball games last Thursday and Friday for Berryville, Green Forest and Eureka Springs teams.

Here's what the coaches had rescheduled by Monday noon.

Eureka Springs

Athletics Director Aaron Hall said the Highlanders would host County Line as scheduled today for senior boys and girls action starting at 5 p.m.

Then this Thursday Eureka will host Union Christian Academy for four games from a previous makeup that was again snowed out.

On Friday Eureka will host Hartford for regularly scheduled games.

Eureka's junior high district tournament begins this Saturday at County Line. The girls play at 1 p.m. Boys' time are not certain until makeups are finished.

Green Forest

Coach Bill Niven said the Tigers would travel to Cedarville today as scheduled for senior boys and girls games.

Last Thursday's games with Elkins have been moved to Friday, Feb. 12, in place of Jasper games.

Friday's games with Alpena will not be made up as they were non-conference.

Monday's junior high games with Mountain Home will not be made up.

Green Forest's junior high district tourney begins next week. No times were available.
