Alton C. Crawford, Lampe

Alton C. Crawford, Lampe, Missouri, was born June 11, 1955 and departed this life January 12, 2010, at the age of 54.

He attended Neosho High School and the School of Life Bible School in Green Forest, Arkansas. Al was a minister and had been an affiliate pastor in Colorado and in Joplin before moving to Cassville, Missouri. While there he became the director of School of Life Bible School at Spiritual Streams Church of God.

Al was united in marriage to Treva Parton Keithley on September 10, 2004. He moved to Lampe in 2004 and became pastor of Elm Tree Church of God where he pastored for four years. He was the director of Angelfood Ministries for the Lampe area and was currently attending Highview Assembly of God Church when not ministering in other churches.

He loved sharing about Jesus Christ and had a big heart and a ready smile for everyone he met. Al loved the Lord with all his heart and was a wonderful husband, dad and PaPa. He was employed with D&K Adventures Trucking.

Survivors include his wife, Treva, of the home; one son, Alex Keithley and wife, Staci, of Lampe; three daughters, April Keithley of Lampe, Amy McCreary and husband Jason, of Oak Grove, Arkansas and Chelsea Beard of Joplin; five grandchildren, McKenzie McCreary, Jayden McCreary, Matthew Keithley, Riley Crawford and Riot Beard; a niece Shannon Cackley and many other relatives and friends.

Al was dearly loved by his wife, children, grandchildren, family and friends. He enjoyed Nascar, music, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed here, but he is home with Jesus, whom he lived for.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Highview Assembly of God in Lampe with Pastor Roger Ely and Rev. Darrell Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Blue Eye Cemetery under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home-South, Kimberling City, Missouri.
