Ronnie Eugene Rowland

Ronnie Eugene Rowland, Sr., 62, of Alpena, AR passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 with his family by his side. He was born on April 16, 1947 in Jasper, AR to the late Jess Rowland and Don "Cones" Rowland. Ronnie was self-employed as a construction worker. He enjoyed the simple things in life like spending time with his family, horseback riding and listening to country music.

He is survived by his sons: Ronnie Rowland, Jr. and wife Susan of Alpena, Jerrod Rowland and girlfriend Cindy Smith of Green Forest; daughter Lesley Rowland and fiance Mike Cisco, Jr. of Berryville; sisters Sharon White and husband Jerry of Bella Vista, Jessie Cochran and husband Ronny of Independence, MO; brothers L.C. Rowland of Green Forest and James Rowland of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren Angela Butler, Dustin Rowland, Corey Rowland, Samantha Rowland, Shelby Rowland, Gail Cisco and Aaron Cisco.

Celebration of Life services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Jasper Cemetery with interment following at the cemetery. Wendell Jones and Arlis Burks will officiate. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest.
