Christmas Ball on Dec. 5 will help raise matching funds for ES Museum repairs

The seventh annual Christmas Ball fund-raiser for the Eureka Springs Historical Museum will be held Dec. 5 at the Basin Park Hotel ballroom from 7 to 11 p.m.

Music will be provided by the JM Combo and complimentary wine and heavy hors d'oeuvres are included in the ticket price of $20 in advance, or $25 at the door.

There will also be a silent auction with art works, gift items, certificates for restaurants, hotels, spas, B&B's and other services.

The museum is the recipient of a grant for repairs to the building from the Arkansas Historic Preservation program in the amount of $22,500. Matching funds in the amount of $11,250 must be raised. The recent "Voices from the Silent City" event took the museum half way to that goal. The museum needs the community's help to make the ball a success and help it complete the needed matching funds.
