Tuckfield to perform Sunday

Kevin Tuckfield

During the month of September, Freeman Heights Baptist Church in Berryville will be having revival services each Sunday.

This Sunday, Sept. 13, Rev. Ray Edwards, co-pastor at Burlington Baptist Church and former pastor of First Baptist Berryville in the early '90s will be preaching during the morning and evening worship service. Sunday morning Bible Study begins at 9:45 a.m. with worship at 10:55. The evening service will begin at 6 p.m.

Kevin Tuckfield, a country singer/songwriter, will be singing during both services. Kevin gave his life to Christ at the age of 36. In 1991, he felt the Lord calling him to become involved writing Christian music. His testimony is: "As a songwriter, I keep going 'cause songs just keep coming out. My desire has always been to encourage people with music, but mostly to reach people like I was, before I came to know who Jesus really was." He recently finished a CD that includes clean, funny, secular Bluegrass on one side and spiritual, truth-based Gospel Bluegrass on the other.

Everyone is invited to worship with the congregation at Freeman Heights during this time of revival. For additional information, or for help with transportation to the services, call (870) 423-2509.
