Geraldine Usrey, 67, of Berryville, Arkansas died Friday, August 14, 2009 at her home. She was born July 15, 1942 in Berryville, the daughter of Roy F. Davis and Viola "Ratliff'' Davis. On August 25, 1961 she was united in marriage to Jackie Usrey and to this union two sons were born. Before her retirement Geraldine worked at Atlas Home Care in Harrison, where she loved being a care giver. She had also been employed at Glick, Ocoma and Town and Country Lanes in Berryville. She owned and operated "The Lunch Box" Café in Berryville for 12 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Geraldine enjoyed her flower garden, decorating her home, sitting on her front porch watching the traffic and drinking coffee. She especially enjoyed drinking coffee with all her friends at "The Coffee Table" in McDonalds. She is survived by her sons, J.C. Usrey and Jeff Usrey both of Berryville; father-in-law Claude Hittson of Rule, one grandson Jeffery Usrey of Shell Knob, MO and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Jackie Usrey on July 29, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents and mother-in-law Carmie "Usrey" Hittson. Celebration of Life service will be Monday, August 17, 11a.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest with Pastor Jerry Spurlock and Brother Gary Faulkner officiating.
