James Dale Fultz
James Dale Fultz, 65, of Green Forest, AR., passed away June 28, 2009 at Circle Of Life Hospice, Springdale. He was born June 21, 1944, at Osage, son of Jess Fultz and Nora "Wilson" Fultz.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Margaret Graves.
He is survived by his wife, Lana Sue "Stark" Fultz, of the home; daughter, Janet Renee Johnson, of Fayetteville; son, Jerry Lee Fultz and wife Joy, of Green Forest; brothers: Ernie Fultz, of Osage, Jim Fultz, of Tontitown; sisters: Molly Noland, Sue Colvin, Ilene Cate, all of Springdale, Shurley Dunkle, of Carthage, MO, Linda Crabtree, of Wheaton, MO; grandson, Haden Foster Johnson, of Fayetteville; two step-grandsons, other relatives and many friends.
Dale enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson, "Foster", his little pal and buddy. He liked going to bull rides, camping, listening to country music and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Dale went to church, but enjoyed the woods as his church. He was a farmer and mechanic and owned Dale's Garage, where friends came often to talk and visit. Dale had been on dialysis and had suffered a lot, but he always had a smile and a twinkle in his eye, when family or friends visited.
Celebration Of Life Services, 11 a.m., Thursday, July 2, Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel in Green Forest. Pastor Donnie Hudson and Kevin Robertson will officiate. Interment, Farewell Cemetery. Visitation, 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Diabetic Association.
