Roenigk services to await recovery of his wife, Elise

Plans for a memorial service for Marty Roenigk, co-owner of the Crescent and Basin Park Hotels, who died last Thursday in a two-vehicle accident in southwest Iowa, are being made by the family, according to a spokesman for the hotels.

He said a spokesman for the family stated that the service would probably not be held for another two to three weeks allowing Roenigk's wife, Elise, time to recover from her injuries sustained in the accident and planned surgery.

The family has also asked that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in the name of Marty Roenigk to: Main Stage Creative Community Center, Attention: Marty Roenigk Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 17, 67 North Main St., Eureka Springs, AR 72632.
