BERRYVILLE -- The All-Star Youth Football Camp is scheduled to kick off July 13 at 9 a.m. and run for three days on the Bobcat campus.

Boys and girls entering the third through sixth grade are eligible. Cost is $30, which includes a T-shirt and awards on the final day, July 15.

All youth are welcome and will get to learn the fundamentals of the game of football, Bobcat head football coach Bobby Bishop said.

The Bobcat staff and athletes will lead the camp, with sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork and organizational skills taught, along with the traditional football of punting, passing and kicking.

There will be competitions, including 40-yard dash, pro shuttle, dummy toss, punt-pass-and-kick, and Bobcat Ball tournaments.

Entry forms can be picked up at the K-3 and 3-5 campuses, or youth can pay the first day of camp. Checks should be made out to: Berryville Athletic Department, 902 West Trimble, Berryville. For more information, phone the Berryville Field House at (870) 480-4624.

  • Love these football camps, more than anything they help kids get over initial anxiety of playing if they are a first year player.
