Robert Leroy (Bob) Archinal

Services for Robert Leroy (Bob) Archinal, 78, Lawrence, will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2009 at the Grubb Springs Cemetery in Harrison, Arkansas.

Mr. Archinal died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Brandon Woods at Alvamar.

He was born August 25, 1930, in Chicago, IL, the son of Curtis and Gertrude Anna Hayes Archinal.

Mr. Archinal served in the United States Army during the Korean War, 1950 to 1952. Bob was the Facilities Manager for Hallmark in Lawrence.

He married Kathleen R. Hunt Archinal on June 12, 1955 in Berryville, AR. She died June 22, 2002.

Survivors include daughters; Berry Ruth Clemens and husband Paul, Lawrence, Shirley Price and husband Ken, Topeka; grandchildren, Katie Clemens, Lawrence, Timothy Price, Topeka, Natasha Price, Topeka; and brother Donald Archinal and wife Barbara, Lawrence.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.

The family suggests memorials to the Heritage Baptist Church Christian School, sent in care of the funeral home.
