Juanita Evelyne Rand

Juanita Evelyne Rand of Everett, WA, 80, passed away peacefully in her sleep, June 11, 2009 with her family by her side. She was born March 11, 1929 in Yokum Creek, Arkansas. Nita was a diehard Seattle Mariners fan, bingo player extraordinaire, fantastic poker player, excellent story teller and loved by all that knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Geral Dean Rand; sister and brother Loeta Chaney and J.C. Youngblood of Green Forest, Arkansas; daughters Janet Hoglund and her husband Albert, Barbara Howard and Loeta Faye Wilson; son, Joe Rand and his wife Julie; nine grandchildren: Brian and Steven Rand, Jessi Abegglen and Sherry Shatwell, Kevin and Kimberly Howard, Karie Howard-Wolz, Jerry and Jeffrey Hoglund; six adorable great- grandchildren: Kylie and Logan Howard, Madison and Shelby Shatwell, Katie and Calvin Abegglen.

At her request there will be no service, Nita's extraordinary life will be celebrated by her family and friends at a private gathering.
