Charles T. Wells

Charles T. Wells, a resident of Lampe, MO, was born December 28, 1918 in Jackson, TN, a son of Charles P. and Lillian India (Rook) Wells. He departed this life Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at the age of 90.

Mr. Wells served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He was also a member of the Olivet Baptist Church in Paducah, KY.

Charles is survived by three sons, James and Virginia Wells of Paducah KY, Steven and Pat Wells of Lampe, MO, Charles D. and Un Chong Wells of Fallon, NV, one sister; Elizabeth Wells of Paducah, KY; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and family, along with special friends Mark and Carol Anna of Lampe, MO.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Beeney Wells, parents, two brothers; Vaughn O. Wells and infant Billy B. Wells.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev.
