Tickets are available in advance from Chamber board members, or at the door, for $12.
"This should be a really memorable chamber banquet," said Chamber President Rob Kerby. "We'll have some of the real decision-makers who affect our daily lives here in Green Forest giving reports about the school, the city and what's going on in the legislature. We'll have music from some of our top-notch kids. And as always, we will be recognizing a Person of the Year."
Kerby said this year's Person of the Year "has spent years serving this city quietly but effectively."
The keynote speaker for the evening is State Rep. Bryan King. He is expected to speak at about 7:15, after the presentation of the Person of the Year.
The Green Forest High School band will play before the banquet, and the school choir will also perform. Current Miss Carroll County Olivia Foster will sing, and Keylin Bell will also perform.
Other highlights of the evening will include the following:
* 2009 Scholarship Winner Salvador Hernandez will be recognized.
* Superintendent Jeff Williams will speak on the state of the school district.
* Mayor Richard Deweese will discuss the state of the city.
* More information will be available about the Chamber Web site, and how members can have a listing there.
* A special presentation will honor the "Heroes of the Year."
