Charles Henry Sugg
CHARLES HENRY SUGG, formerly of Berryville, died Jan. 14, 2009, in Thousand Palms, Calif., at the age of 88. He was born Sept. 16, 1920, in Dry Fork.
Henry served in the U.S. Navy, was a small business owner, a member of the Lion's Club, and served on the hospital board of directors in Berryville. He was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church in Thousand Palms.
On May 21, 1943, he was united in marriage with Joanna E. Jeffers. They had one son, Charles Richard (Ricky) Sugg. The couple resided in Berryville and retired in Thousand Palms.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Angela VanOrder and her husband Brent of Little Rock, Bobbie Warren of Bentonville, Brandon Warren and his wife Patty of Grain Valley, Mo., and Joshua Warren of Berryville; and his daughter-in-law and her husband Patty and Cliff Warren of Berryville. He has three great-grandchildren, Jordan and Alexis VanOrder of Little Rock and Braden Warren of Grain Valley, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanna Sugg, his son, Ricky Sugg, and his parents, Charles Clifford and Hester Estella (Maxwell) Sugg.
