"Our defense was good and everyone played really well," Coach Farrar said. "Our second half defense was good, shut them down. Two of their top scorers had zero points. Nikki hit some big free throws."

"Kingston is a good team. They finished second in the Berryville junior high tournament," Coach Niven said. "They played a good 1-3-1 defense and pressed, which is pretty effective in that small gym. We handled their press and played close, within two or three points, then let it get away the fourth quarter.
"We had to go man and we aren't real good at it," Niven said. "Gus Byers scored six points and was 2 of 2 at the line. He did a pretty good job. They all did well, played good defense."
