Jan. 12

7:12 a.m. -- A call was received from a Vaughn Street resident that a neighbor's dog had chased a cat up a tree.

Jan. 13

11:09 a.m. -- A woman calling from downtown reported having been assaulted the day before.

Jan. 14

1:07 p.m. -- Martin Hampton was arrested at the Eureka Springs Police Department on an outstanding warrant.

1:45 p.m. -- A man identifed as PTL Young was arrested on an outstanding warrant on Potter House Road.

Jan. 15

1:02 a.m. -- Carroll County Sheriff's Office reported that a possibly intoxicated driver was coming into town on Ark. Hwy. 23 North. Police could find no sign of the person.

Jan. 16

12:50 a.m. -- The county called, forwarding a 911 call reporting theft of money from a person's motel room.

2:53 p.m. -- Two vehicles were reported leaving west-bound from the Joy Motel, possibly connected to breaking and entering.

3:04 p.m. -- Caller reported a cell phone was stolen.

6:54 p.m. -- A call was received from Charleston, Ark., requesting a welfare check on a woman who is five months pregnant and traveling with her boyfriend.

8:04 p.m. -- A caller from a convenience store reported that a person was in the shop who might be wanted. Officer found that the subject was wanted and he was arrested.

Jan. 17

11:35 a.m. -- Pharmacy worker called to say that an upset customer had made threats to an employee. Officer made contact and took a report.

2:45 p.m. -- Caller advised that she had been run off the road on Passion Play Road by someone driving a red car. Report was taken.

4:53 p.m. -- Accident investigated involving a horse and carriage on Ellis Grade.

5:58 p.m. -- Caller reported a stolen checkbook at a fast food drive-in.

5:58 p.m. -- Caller complained that a construction crew was making too much noise on Mount Victoria.

Jan. 18

12:03 a.m. -- A traffic stop on U.S. 62 West resulted in the arrest of one person for DWI and a second person for public intoxication.

2:33 p.m. -- A report was received that an auto was on the foot trail at Black Bass Lake. Vehicle was gone upon arrival.

2:43 p.m. -- A resident on Cushing Street reporter that a flag had been stolen from the residence.
