8:03 a.m. - Two puppies were found running loose near City Hall, and were taken to the pound.

9:54 a.m. - A dog was taken to the Good Shepherd Humane Society.

11:27 a.m. - A dead cat was picked up on Walnut St.

2:08 p.m. - A warning was issued to the owner of a dog found running loose on N. Arch Ave.

December 30

10:39 a.m. - An officer responded to a report of a dog running loose on S. Springfield Ave.

12:15 p.m. - The manager of East Gate Mobile Home park was asked to pick up trash blowing along the road.

2:19 p.m. - A dead dog was picked up on Phillips Ave.

11:45 p.m. - A prisoner was picked up in Boone County.

December 31

2:16 a.m. - An officer responded to a traffic accident on E. Main St.

8:31 p.m. - An officer investigating a possible breaking and entering incident on Tharp Ave. found that the wind had blown open a door.

January 1

1 a.m. - An officer assisted at a domestic disturbance in Alpena.

1:55 a.m. - A warning was issued near the eastern city limits for driving left of center.

2:45 a.m. - A speeding warning was issued near Dollar General.

2:57 a.m. - A warning was issued near the hatchery for driving left of center and defective equipment.

January 2

12:07 p.m. - Two dogs were taken to the Good Shepherd Humande Society.

4:50 p.m. - An officer responded to a domestic disturbance on Tyson Dr.

5:45 p.m. - After a complaint of loud music on Tyson Dr., the resident was asked to lower the volume.

7:41 p.m. - No charges were filed when jewelry reported stolen was returned to the owner.

8:45 p.m. - An officer assisted the sheriff's office with a TV theft.

January 3

5 a.m. - A warning was issued near Exxon for failure to dim headlights.

5:10 a.m. - A warning was issued near Tiger Fuel for driving left of center and no proof of insurance.

5:25 a.m. - A warning was issued near Smith Cycle for speeding.

6:34 a.m. - Citations were issued near the Exxon for following too closely and defective headlight.

7:24 a.m. - A warning was issued on Main St. for speeding.

8 a.m. - An officer met with a community service worker.

11:30 a.m. - An officer met with a community service worker.

12:50 p.m. - After two dogs were reported chasing people on Cherry St., an officer told the complainant that a citation would be issued when the owner of the dogs returned home.

1:40 p.m. - A warning was issued on the square to a driver with two small children in the front seat.

2:45 p.m. - A warning was issued near Harp's for failure to signal and improper lane usage.

11 a.m. - An officer was unable to locate a dog reported running loose on Cherry St.

12:48 p.m. - A warning was issued near Sonic for a defective brake light.

1:02 p.m. - A warning was issued near the school for following too closely, speeding, and improper display.

4:42 p.m. - Information was taken in a custody dispute.

4:50 p.m. - An officer responded to a report of a fight at Garden Gate Apts.

8:50 p.m. - Medicine for a prisoner was taken to the jail.

9:47 p.m. - Citations were issued after a disturbance on Sixth St.
