Dec. 29

12:15 a.m. -- An officer responded to a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident in front of Hart's parking lot, and a report was taken.

9:15 a.m. -- Police investigated a burglary of the concession stand at Eureka Springs High School.

10:04 a.m. -- An alarm went of accidentally at Romancing the Stone.

12 p.m. -- Police investigated a cannon that had been vandalized at Springs Fried Chicken.

1:25 p.m. -- A pay station at city hall was reported to not be accepting money.

9:06 p.m. -- Carroll County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) reported that a GMC truck had set off smoke bombs by Cato's in Berryville and left town heading west from Berryville. Officers were advised.

9:53 p.m. -- CCSO reported a disturbance at 25 Prospect. Officers made contact, but the family had already worked things out.

Dec. 30

1:02 p.m. -- A possible counterfeit bill was reported at Cornerstone Bank.

6:55 p.m. -- A woman reported being assaulted in the parking lot of McDonald's and a report was taken.

Dec. 31

1:58 a.m. -- A caller at Swiss Villa Apartments advised that a male was hitting trees and yelling, and knocked down a light pole. An officer made contact and the man was told to turn in and speak with management in the morning.

4:27 p.m. -- A Spring Street caller reported that youth in the vicinity of Palace Hotel and Bath House were in the back of a pickup and shooting B "Bs. An officer spoke to the father, and the guns were being put up.

10:28 p.m. -- A man was reported trying to start a fight at the bar at Tiki Torch.

11:04 p.m. -- A caller at Tiki Torch reported a fight, and an officer made contact and arrested a subject.

Jan. 1

10:33 a.m. -- CCSO reported that a vehicle was off the road in the area of Inn of The Ozarks, and the driver was entrapped. Emergency Medical Services and the fire department responded to the scene.

3:30 p.m. -- A wanted person at the police department was arrested on a warrant.

7:37 p.m. -- A caller on Spring Street reported that a band was playing. The band was contacted and advised to turn it off for the night.

10:32 p.m. -- An intoxicated man at Alpine Liquor was arrested on a warrant and for driving while intoxicated.

Jan. 2

4:15 p.m. -- A caller on Jay Lane reported a pit bull was running loose in her yard.

10:20 p.m. -- A call was received from the Carroll House Apartments, complaining that kids were playing with a lighter, trying to set stuff on fine.
