Wilma June Beaver

WILMA JUNE BEAVER, 79, of Holiday Island, was born Feb. 16, 1929 in Belleville, a daughter of William and June (Hutchison) Bailey. She departed this life Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, in Holiday Island.

She was a member of Faith Christian Family Church in Eureka Springs. She also attended the Women's Bible Study at First Assembly of God Church in Eureka Springs.

She is survived by one son, Ron Beaver and wife Beverly of Golden, Mo.; one brother, Herbert Bailey and wife Peggy of Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister, Bernita Greenhaw of Lawton, Okla.; two granddaughters, Michelle Matzenbacher of Berryville, and Stephanie and husband Gary Lane, of Bentonville; five great-grandchildren, Curt, Tifany and Keli Matzenbacher all of Berryville, and Bailee and Bryce Lane, both of Bentonville; several other family members and a host of friends.

On Oct. 5, 1946, she was united in marriage with Norman Dee Beaver who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents; one brother, Glen Bailey; two sisters, Elsie Broadway and Freda Hood.

Visitation was Friday, Nov. 14, at Nelson's Chapel of the Springs in Eureka Springs. Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 15, at Faith Christian Family Church in Eureka Springs with Rev. Gary Hayhurst officiating. Interment followed in Roach Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc.
