Oct. 20

12:43 a.m. -- Officers assisted a driver in a disabled vehicle partially in the roadway near Price Cutter.

2:38 a.m. -- Police provided security for a person at Tyson's fearing for safety and with a protection order in effect, and got the person home safely.

10:29 a.m. -- Police checked the vehicle identification number at the police department and completed the required report.

2:35 p.m. -- A check on reported intoxicated subjects at Dollar General proved to be unfounded.

5:22 p.m. -- Police were dispatched to a Douglas Street address where a subject was video-taping another family. There was no crime nor action required.

5:44 p.m. -- Police checked on subjects in McKennon Street with a stroller, and all was all right.

5:56 p.m. -- A report was taken of a stolen orange and black bicycle on Huntsville Street.

9:52 p.m. -- Police checked the old bus barn where a janitor was working, and found everything to be all right.

11:06 p.m. -- Officers checked a suspicious subject in the lot at Action Motors and all was okay.

11:45 p.m. -- Police investigated a complaint of a barking dog in the area of Pritchard and Ada. The dog was located on Pritchard Street.

Oct. 21

4:50 a.m. -- Police assisted a county deputy with an open door at a business, and all was found to be okay;.

1:02 p.m. -- Police checked the vehicle identification number of a vehicle and completed the required report.

3:00 p.m. -- Police investigated a vandalism at an undisclosed location.

4:30 p.m. -- Police investigated a report of children left unattended in a vehicle on the east side of the Walmart parking lot. No one was located.

6:10 p.m. -- Police advised a resident on Springfield to clean up the property following a report of unsightly conditions and vehicles.

7:20 p.m. -- Police checked Whole Sale Electric after an alarm went off, and all was secure.

8:10 p.m. -- Police stopped a driver at U.S. Hwy. 52 and Lone Pine for no vehicle tags, and arrested the driver on a Harrison Police Department warrant.

11:47 p.m. -- An officer checked the back door which was open at a vacant house on Springfield, and all appeared to be all right.

Oct. 22

9 a.m. -- Police checked a vehicle identification number and completed the required report.

1:58 p.m. -- Police checked a vehicle identification number and completed the required report.

3:08 p.m. -- Police checked a vehicle identification number and completed the required report.

3:20 p.m. -- Police directed traffic for school buses on Freeman Street.

6:39 p.m. -- Police checked Whole Sale Electric where an alarm went off, and all was okay.

6:44 p.m. -- Police assisted a motorist on U.S. Hwy. 62 near Walmart, and removed the vehicle from the roadway.

6:50 p.m. -- An officer assisted a motorist on U.S. Hwy. 62 at Fairway Motor Inn.

9:46 p.m. -- Police assisted emergency medical service personnel at a Bobo Street residence where a elderly male had fallen.

Oct. 23

9:15 a.m. -- Police assisted a motorist at Kerusso's.

3 p.m. -- Police cited a person at Walmart for shoplifting.

3:40 p.m. -- Police checked a vehicle identification number and completed the required report.

6:29 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of a disturbance at County Road and U.S. Hwy 62, and visited with a subject about another person.

7:28 p.m. -- An officer responded to a report of loud music at Country Court, but were unable to locate the source.

8:15 p.m. -- Police responded to a burglary report at an East College Street address, and a report was taken.

Oct. 24

12:32 a.m. -- A traffic stop on a vehicle with expired tags on College Street led to an arrest on an outstanding warrant.

1:08 a.m. -- Police assisted with an unruly patient at St. John's - Berryville, and placed the subject in restraints.

3:29 p.m. -- Police checked an alarm at Little Angels, and all was okay.

12:45 p.m. -- Police checked a vehicle identification number and completed the required report.

1 p.m. -- A report of a theft was investigated at the police department.

6:39 p.m. -- Police provided civil standby at a Maple Street address.

7:38 p.m. -- Police stood by while a subject picked up personal items at a Maple Street address.

8:58 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of a fight at Walmart, but no fight was located.

9:35 p.m. -- Police responded to a disturbance at Walmart and arrested a subject on a Springdale Police Department warrant.

Oct. 25

2:55 a.m. -- Police went to Country Court regarding a complaint of loud music and the music was turned down.

10:54 a.m. -- Police responded to a two-vehicle fatality traffic accident at U.S. Hwy. 62 and Ark. Hwy. 21 South, and a report was made.

12:05 p.m. -- Police assisted a subject with obtaining property from a towed vehicle at G&I Towing.

2:27 p.m. -- Police responded to a High Street address where an open door in the basement was found. No crime was detected.

2:28 p.m. -- Police responded to the same High Street address regarding an open door which was not closed all the way. All was okay.

4:18 p.m. -- Police assisted with the towing of a vehicle, whose driver had been previously arrested, on Charles Street.

Oct. 25

7:08 p.m. -- A man was arrested for public intoxication and on a warrant at Stubbs Grocery.

7:13 p.m. -- Police took a report of a private property traffic accident at Game Stop.

10:57 p.m. -- Police went to Red X on the Boone County line to pick up a Berryville Police department prisoner arrested on a warrant by Harrison Police, and delivered the subject to jail.

Oct. 26

8:32 a.m. -- Police picked up a cooler lying in the street on U.S. Hwy 62 at Price Cutter and took it to the police department.

10:54 a.m. -- Police provided extra patrol at a Laura Street address.

12:48 p.m. -- Police responded to a Springfield Street address where a subject was having seizures. The person was taken to the hospital via ambulance.

1:18 p.m. -- Police responded to the emergency room at St. John's where subjects were reported arguing and cussing. The subjects were gone upon arrival.

2:32 p.m. -- Police responded to a Freeman Street residence where a child had thrown something at a passing vehicle, and the matter was resolved.

5:47 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at an apartment of U.S. 62 Spur.

6:18 p.m. -- Officers mediated and resolved an argument over belongings at Mark's Apartments.

7:15 p.m. -- Officers checked and identified a suspicious person behind the U.S. Post Office, and all was all right.

8:07 p.m. -- Police responded to Country Court where a vehicle had rolled down an embankment, and a private property traffic accident was filed.

11:08 p.m. -- Police checked the area of Main Liquor and Sugg Oil where a suspicious male wearing a hood was reported running, but were unable to locate the subject.

8:52 p.m. Oct. 12 - The BFD responded to a false alarm on North Springfield.

12:26 p.m. Oct. 15 - The BFD responded to a diesel fuel spill at the junction of Spring and West Church streets where a Pepsi truck was stopped.

7:45 p.m. Oct. 16 - The BFD responded to a flue fire at a North Springfield residence.

10:18 a.m. Oct. 21 - The BFD provided a medical assist at a Locust Heights apartment.

4:03 p.m. Oct. 22 - The BFD responded to a controlled burn that got out of control when winds picked up north of Grandview.
