Oct. 15

7:09 a.m. -- A resident of Singleton Street complained of men talking loudly outside her window. Subjects were gone upon arrival.

1:00 p.m. -- Twins Food Mart reported a gas drive-off, but could not identify the vehicle.

1:12 p.m. -- A subject was arrested at the Rowdy Beaver for several outstanding warrants.

6:47 p.m. -- A minor traffic accident was worked at the corner of Mountain and White streets.

Oct. 16

9:24 a.m. -- A car-motorcycle accident was worked near the Razorback Gift Shop.

4:22 p.m. -- A courthouse worker called ESPD saying a couple had come in and advised that they smelled pot smoke in Basin Park and there were several teens around. They thought it was not a good image for Eureka. Circumstances appeared to be unfounded.

4:37 p.m. -- Businessman called to ask for help with the flow of traffic at the interesection of U.S. Hwy. 62 and Ark. Hwy. 23, where a traffic jam had formed.

Oct. 17

1:35 a.m. -- Caller reported that she had hit a deer near Apple Blossom on Ark. Hwy. 23 and wanted an officer to come take a report.

4:43 a.m. -- Vaughn Street resident complained of a neighbor's dog which had been barking for more than two hours. Officer responded and the dog was taken in for the night.

7:05 a.m. -- Eureka Springs Hospital called to say that a nursing home resident who was an inpatient had left the facility and there was conern for her welfare.

9:51 a.m. -- Nursing home resident found at DJ's Drive-In. Nursing home was notified and they said they would pick her up.

10:27 a.m. -- A resident of Martz Lane called to complain that his brother had removed a battery from his vehicle. Incident of criminal incident report was taken.

1:24 p.m. -- A report of a hit and run was received from the Basin Park Hotel. The accident involved a shuttle van.

7:06 p.m. -- Basin Park employee complained that a truck had parked illegally in front of the hotel and when the vehicle's owner was asked to move, he copped an attitude. Subject was gone upon arrival.

10:35 p.m. -- Hwy. 62 motel desk person advised that there were people on the deck being loud and belligerent. Officers advised that party be taken inside.

11:15 p.m. -- U.S. 62 motel guest requested an officer's presence, as he was trying to leave the hotel due to complications with the manager. Officer responded to make sure everything was okay.

Oct. 18

1:43 a.m. -- Owner of Tiki Torch called to request officer's assistance with some out of control customers. When officers arrived, they had calmed down and agreed to leave.

3:00 a.m. -- An intoxicated person was arrested at Quicker Liquors and charged with public intoxication.

12:49 p.m. -- Guest at Swiss Village reported finding a baggie with suspicious substance in it. Incident report was taken.

Oct. 19

8:00 a.m. -- A school crossing sign was found in the roadway on Pivot Rock. Officer moved it and notified public works to pick it up.

4:15 p.m. -- A resident complained at a pit bull had attacked his dog at the interesection of Howell and Prospect. A citataion was issued.

11:00 p.m. -- ESPD was notified that an intoxicated female had locked herself in her house with an infant child on College Street. Officers responded and a family member was called to pick up the child for the night.
