Activity Report

Sept. 29

11:13 a.m. - Police provided traffic control for a funeral procession.

12:48 p.m. - A subject interfering with traffic flow near the Tourist Information Center was asked to stay out of the roadway.

2:08 p.m. - A report was filed regarding a lock cut at the Entergy lift station gate.

2:29 p.m. - A theft report was filed.

4:49 p.m. - A traffic accident at Sonic required a report,and an arrest of a subject for driving on a suspended driver's license.

9:45 p.m. - Dispatched to a Birch Tree address, police reported it was a civil matter.

11:08 p.m. - Three subjects causing popping noises at a Church Street address could not be found when police responded four minutes later.

11:17 p.m. - The owner of barking dogs on Hannah Street agreed to take care of the dogs.

Sept. 30

3:35 a.m. - The Hannah Street dogs were barking again, there was no response at the door, so the matter was turned over to the animal control officer.

3:24 p.m. - A VIN verification was completed.

3:40 p.m. - A cell phone theft required a report.

Oct.1

8:35 a.m. - An alarm at the jewelry store required a response.

12:04 p.m. - A male shoplifter was arrested at Walmart.

2:36 p.m. - Dispatched to Walmart, police spoke to a complainant. No action was required.

3:21 p.m. - Police were summoned to Walmart where two female shoplifters, an adult and a juvenile, were detained. The adult was arrested and the juvenile cited.

4:49 p.m. - Theft from a vehicle at the Tyson Foods parking lot require a report.

5:10 p.m. - Tires cut in an act of vandalism on McKennon required a report.

9:52 p.m. - A battery complaint was turned into a report at the Tyson parking lot.

Oct. 2

4:43 a.m. - A medical emergency on Cottonwood required an EMS assist.

7:28 a.m. - A female adult was arrested on a Berryville warrant at Locust Heights.

9:10 a.m. - Dispatched to a Cottonwood address, police initiated an investigation into possible sexual abuse.

1 p.m. - A subject reportedly going through vehicles at KFC and Attitudes Salon was checked by police who found no items on him.

6:55 p.m. - The owner of a barking dog on Douglas promised to keep the dog quiet.

8:20 p.m. - The theft of a DVD from a Nunez apartment required a report.

9:11 p.m. - A suspicious vehicle in the library parking lot was checked and found to be okay.

9:20 p.m. - A neighbor dispute at Birch Tree was mediated.

9:42 p.m. - A custody dispute on East Cottonwood was mediated.

11:48 p.m. - An open door at a car dealership was found and checked.

Oct. 3

9:50 p.m. - A motorist assist was attempted on North Springfield. The police chief was unable to unlock a vehicle for its owner.

12:14 p.m. - Police were dispatched to a two vehicle traffic accident at the junction of West Trimble and Bobo. One vehicle fled the scene. A report was filed.

12:38 p.m. - A motorist assist was successful when the police chief was able to unlock a vehicle for its owner at the Walmart parking lot.

1:13 p.m. - Civil standby for a landlord/tenant situation was provided on School Street.

2:12 p.m. - An alarm call from Arvest in Walmart required a response.

Oct. 4

2:40 a.m. - Police checked a subject walking on Hailey Road and determined that all was okay.

3:16 a.m. - Loud music near the corner of McKennon and West Church was turned down upon request.

3:21 a.m. - At an Oakview residence, police recovered a stolen motorcycle and filed a report.

9:50 p.m. - A domestic disturbance on North Avenue required a report.

10:26 p.m. - A male adult was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart.

Oct. 5

12:44 p.m. - A matter regarding a window damaged by a B "B gun on North Springfield was resolved.

1:15 p.m. - A suspicious person walking around on Oakview could not be located.

2:06 p.m. - Two shoplifters were arrested at Walmart.

4:06 p.m. - Police checked on vehicles in the driveway at Main Liquor and found employees working on Halloween decorations.

4:38 p.m. - A two vehicle non-injury traffic accident at the intersection of Trimble and West Freeman required a report.

9:07 p.m. - Police assisted a deputy with a traffic stop on the highway east of the Kings River bridge.

11:47 p.m. - A woman screaming at a Saunders Heights address was taken into custody.
