FRANKIE FARMER, 79, of Oak Grove, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born on Feb. 4, 1929, in Stamps, to Frank Danbsey and Lulla Owens Danbsey.
She was raised and educated in Arkansas. Frankie married L.J. Farmer on Feb. 26, 1968, in Las Vegas, Nev. They lived in California until moving to Arkansas in 1978. They owned and operated Oak Grove Small Engines for 22 years. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, traveling and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Irene Griffin.
Frankie is survived by her husband of 39 years, L.J. Farmer of Oak Grove; three daughters, Christine and her husband, Jim Nuebel of Oak Grove, Deborah Lynn and her husband, Larry Turner of Oak Grove, and Sherry Ann and her husband, Ken Ellithorpe of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Missy Amber Richardson, Tom Paul "Slick" Morris, and Robert Thomas; and two great-grandchildren, Colton Richardson and Allison Richardson.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Chaplain Chuck Bengtson of Circle of Life Hospice officiating.
