Wanda Ellerine McGregor

WANDA ELLERINE McGREGOR, 72, of Lincoln, Ark., passed away on Aug. 23, 2008, at washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born March 7, 1936, at McIntosh, S.D., the daughter of Elmer and Catherine Gabel Jameson.

She was a Methodist, served in the U.S. Women's Army Corps, and was a retired teacher and dairyman. She enjoyed life, nature and her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald McGregor; two brothers, James Jameson and Orton Jameson; one sister, Lynne Beaver; two sisters-in-law, Connie Jameson and Cuma Jameson; and one nephew, Mervin Hedlin.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Cathy and Bob Wright, of McComb, Mo., Vincent and Doris McGregor, of Blue Jacket, Okla., Valerie and Nigel Dawson, of Lincoln, and Dawn and Tim Bowers, of Lincoln; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and three on the way; three brothers, James Jameson, of McIntosh, S.D., Mervin Jameson, of Branson, Mo., and David Jameson, of Warren, Minn.; three sisters, Lela Utter, of Pine River, Minn., Violet Conners, of Twin Falls, Idaho, Jeanette Larson, of Twin Falls, and Evelyn Larson, of Surprize, Ariz.

A memorial service was held Friday, Aug. 29, at 3 p.m.. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Ark., with Andy Newbill officiating.
