Amber Miller, 21, of Branson, Mo., died on Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Mo. Amber was born Sept. 16, 1986, in Branson.
Amber was an employee of Shorty Small's Restaurant in Branson. She was a 2005 graduate of Berryville High School, and was attending North Arkansas Community College, studying to become a mechanic.
Survivors include her maternal great-grandmother, Justine Bratcher of Harristown, Ill.; maternal grandmother Peggy Winings of Berryville; her mother and father, Melissa and Mike Parker of Branson; a son, Ty Donahue of Berryville; brothers Aaron Parker and his wife, Amanda, Daniel Parker, and Matthew Parker; sisters Christina Miller and Tiffany Parker, all of Branson; nephews Christopher Miller and Malachi Parker; and nieces LaShai Parker, Evelyn Rivett and Emily Rivett.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Michael Bratcher, and a brother, Johnathan Parker.
Graveside services were held at Snapp Cemetery in Forsyth, Mo., on Thursday, Aug. 28. Arrangements were under the direction of Forsyth Whelchel Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home in Amber's name.
