Inmate pie time

Taking a break from their equine excrement extractor duties at the Carroll County Fairgrounds in preparation for next week's county fair were county and state trustys who were delighted to be served handmade cherry pies by fair board member Ginger Oaks, who even brought whipped cream to top off the pastries. Pictured (from left) were county trusty Jason Gilbert, state trusty Jimmy Hill, supervisor Cpl. Michael Brown, county trusty Shane Barnette, state trusty Justin McCord, and Oaks with pies in hand.
