On May 29, 1964, he married Emma Molder. Before his retirement, Mr. Hemingway was a municipal employee for the city of Green Forest. He was a member of the Anglican Church. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, reading and traveling.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Emma Hemingway, of the home; sons Doug Hemingway and his wife Susan of Fayetteville, Dan Hemingway and his wife April of southern California, Randy Hemingway and his wife Barbara of southern California and Maryland; one daughter, Suzanne Parodi and her husband Mike of Virginia; four grandchildren, Christopher Hemingway, Jennie Hemingway, Marcello Parodi, and Ariana Parodi; and one great-grandchild, Troy Hemingway.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Fred Hemingway; and one grandson, Jamie Hemingway.
A memorial luncheon will be held Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the old Depot building on Broadway Street in Green Forest.
Memorials may be made to the Green Forest Public Library or Hospice of the Hills in Harrison.
