EUREKA SPRINGS -- Carolyn Williams was the winner of the Holiday Island Ladies Golf Match Play that took place in June and July. Carolyn won three rounds of hole by hole competition.

The fourth round was a tie match with Sue Dillard, and Carolyn won the play-off to become the 2008 Match Play Champion.

League Play

The Holiday Island Ladies played nine holes of "Crazy Golf" on Wednesday, August 13. Each player was limited to three clubs and a putter for the round.

The team winners were:

First, with a score of 35 - Sue Dillard, Nancy Crouse, Mary Lou Smith.

Tie for second with a 36 - Kelly Trahan, Norma Rix, Jean Bunting, Noelle Setrum; Patty Edwards, Colleen Inman, Darlene Strong, Joan Miller.

Tie for third with a 40 - Lora Colby, Ellen Bjork, Connie Woolhiser, Vera Harris; Barb Kuhn, Joyce Lenz, Sara Wachner, Phyllis Williams.
