Wallace Lee Wally Pinkley

WALLACE LEE WALLY PINKLEY, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born Oct. 19, 1939, in Eureka Springs, a son of Raymond Magnus and Katheryn Pearl (Ames) Pinkley. He died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, in Eureka Springs, at the age of 68.

Mr. Pinkley was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was also a member of the Holiday Elks Lodge #1042.

On July 23, 1966, he was united in marriage with Carol Pinkley, who survives him of the home. He is also survived by one daughter, Christine and husband Tyce Carlson; one son, James Pinkley and wife Kendra; one sister, Marjorie and husband Larry Scruggs; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joan and Phil Cadenhead and Valerie and Del Pherson; two grandsons, Tyler and Cade Carlson; one granddaughter, Reese Pinkley; one soon to be born granddaughter, Callie Pinkley; three nieces, Kim Ganz, Cyndee Pesicka, and Julee Pruett; four nephews, Steve, Paul, and Tim Scruggs, and Ty Jenson; six great-nephews, Justin Ganz, Jacob Pesicka, Joshua Scruggs, Noah Scruggs, Jacob Scruggs, and Brandon Jensen; three great-nieces, MacKenzie Scruggs, Marissa Scruggs, and Sarah Jensen; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at Rock Springs Cemetery with Larry Scruggs officiating under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
