Harold Douglas Butch Stroud Jr.

Harold Douglas Butch Stroud Jr., 65, of Huntsville, died July 29 at Northwest Medical Center, Springdale. He was born Feb. 11, 1943, at Huntsville, the son of Harold Douglas and Oneta Fleta Bill Dudgeon Stroud.

He was a farmer and attended Living Water Baptist Church in Huntsville. He was a past president of the Huntsville Jaycees and a former member of the board of directors of Ozark Guidance Center and Huntsville Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Fancher Stroud, of the home; one son, Tim Stroud, of Huntsville; one sister, Bette Parrott, of Miami, Okla; a grandson, O Shay Stroud, of Huntsville; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Faulkner officiating. Interment was in Aurora Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, of Huntsville.

Pallbearers were Bob Bolinger, Danny Jackson, Greg Taylor, O.D. Reynolds, Charles Gurley and Bill Weathers, Honorary pallbearers were Ronald Grigg, Dale Graham, Carson Holt, Dwight Steel, and his team penning, roping and fishing friends.
