She was a Christian, a talented singer, and a member of the Living Water Baptist Church in Huntsville.
She was the widow of Garland Faulkner, who preceded her in death on May 14, 1999, after 57 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by one son, Bobby Paul Faulkner; four brothers, Otto Davis, Elijah Osco "Bud" Davis, Benjamin Loyd Davis and Claude Fay Davis; three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Smith, Myrtha Lee Counts and Bertha Gladys Powell; and by one grandson, Matthew Gifford.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Glen and Judy Faulkner of Prairie Grove, and Gary and Wanda Faulkner of Huntsville; one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and James Gray of Huntsville; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held July 17 at the Living Water Baptist Church with the Revs. Darrell Foulk and Loy Counts officiating. Interment was in the Drakes Creek Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
