Jack was born Jan. 7, 1942, in Checotah, Okla., to Wesley Roberts and Delmar (LaFavor) Roberts Sexton. Growing up, he went to school in both California and Arizona.
Jack married Mary Morin on Aug. 4, 1960, in Gilabend, Ariz. Jack moved to Berryville in 1969. He was police chief for several years in Berryville and also owned restaurants in Berryville and Green Forest. He moved to the Branson area in 2003.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Jessie Roberts.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Roberts, of Hollister; two daughters, Janice Thomas and her husband Glenn of Kimberling City, Mo., and Debbie Rundall of Hollister; seven grandchildren, Lacie Lynch and her husband Wayne of Mount Sterling, Ill., Tiffany Proctor, Chase Rundall and Chance Rundall, all of Hollister, Dalton Thomas, Dylan Thomas, and Joshua Thomas, all of Kimberling City; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley Bresnaham of Berryville.
