NELLIE JEAN VOIGHT, 63, of Green Forest, died Saturday, June 14, 2008, in her home. She was born in Albion, Iowa, on Dec. 1, 1944, daughter of the late Harold Hauser and Erma Matney Hauser.

In April of 1984, she was united in marriage to Colin

Voight. After moving to Green Forest, she worked as a nurse's aide for the Carroll County Health Department Division of Home Health. She enjoyed listening to music, especially oldies from her record collection.

Jean is survived by her husband, Colin Voight, of the home; three sons, Dean Grout and wife Dawn of Eureka Springs, Robert Grout of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Michael Voight of the home; three daughters, Connie Davis of Green Forest, Roberta Randall and husband Kirk of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Nicole Flowers of Green Forest; step-sons Stacy Voight and wife Melissa of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Craig Voight of Michigan; three step-daughters, Tammy Deschamp, Heidi Davis, and Shelley Voight; two brothers, Rev. Harold Hauser of Illinois, and Herman Hauser of Iowa; two sisters, Betty Bulanck of Iowa, and Velma Schneider of Iowa; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Helen Holden, and Wilma Bracy; and one infant sister, Geniveve.

Celebration of life services were held on Tuesday, June 16, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest, with Rev. Harold Hauser officiating. Interment was in Fair Grove Cemetery near Green Forest.
