Mr. Peterson was a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force during WWII, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War. He later retired from the Air Force. He was a member of the Holiday Island Community Church, and the Coffee Pot Club in Eureka Springs.
On Aug. 4, 1944, he was united in marriage with Doris (Eubank), who survives him of the home. He is also survived by two daughters, Linda Lee Bussell of Winchester, Tenn. and Teri Martin of Eureka Springs; one brother, Bob Peterson of Hawaii; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one niece, as well as a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Carolyn Peterson.
