BILLY BOB WATSON was born in 1920 in Alpena to Jess and Ethel Watson. He died May 21, 2008, in Parker, Ariz.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Louise Payne; and one brother, Gene Watson.

Bob grew up in Alpena and graduated in 1939. He moved to California and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He later worked as a dredge master on the Colorado River, a position he held until his retirement.

He is survived by two sisters, Laura Sue Gunn and Shirley Alsing of Berryville; one brother, G.B. Watson of Burlington, Texas; five nephews and three nieces.
