Opal Elizabeth (Pinkley) Hull

OPAL ELIZABETH (PINKLEY) HULL, a resident of Berryville, was born Dec. 25, 1916, in Winona Community, a daughter of Christopher Columbus and Mary Elizabeth (Clark) Pinkley. She died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, in Eureka Springs, at the age of 91.

Ms. Hull was a member of the Church of Christ in Berryville. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and sewing.

She is survived by two daughters, Patsy Lee and husband Glenn Quigley of Eureka Springs, and Evva Donna and husband Wayne Henderson of Berryville; five grandchildren, Norman Henderson of Floyds Knobs, Ind., Douglas Henderson of Portland, Ore., Paul Henderson of Milwaukee, Ore., Caroline Widhalm of Lincoln, Neb., and Deborah Smith of Eureka Springs; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher L. Widhalm, Robert Henderson, Curtis Henderson, Noah Henderson, Ellen Henderson, Callie Smith and Kendra Smith; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

On March 9, 1935, Opal was united in marriage with Curtis Monroe Hull, who preceded her in death after 70 years of marriage. She was also preceded by her parents, four brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 9, 2008, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville with Minister Don Edwards officiating and Minister Mitch Rhymer officiating graveside. Interment followed in the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
